Still no Tom; is the forthcoming organic inspection going to be the very last straw?
Radio Times: Brian escapes the kitchen, while Pat and Tony are struggling.
Characters: Alice, Brian, Jazzer, Pat, Tony- Pat and Tony get on with moving the ark while waiting for Jazzer who had offered to help. Tony can’t believe that they will need to get so much work done by the end of the week when the organic inspection takes place. Jazzer turns up and work starts.
- Alice and Brian keep an eye on a hind having difficulty in labour. Halfway through expressing how tired he feels Adam must be, working late nights, Brian sees the hind starting to graze. It’s all hands to the pumps. If she continues to graze, she may well loose interest in the pregnancy altogether.
- The ark makes it to the farm with Jazzer telling Pat of Jolene’s ideas for resurrecting the Midnight Walkers for the Lower Loxley Festival. Tony just can’t believe it but takes the chance of asking him for extra help with the pigs during the week. A reluctant negative means that Pat and Tony will just have to manage by themselves.
- Alice volunteers to help get the struggling hind into the crush and with advice from Brian, manages to help very significantly with bringing a new life into the world. Brian is generally grateful.
- Tony needs heaps of help but Pat is up to her neck with administration. Tony has one last move to phone Tom again. She begs him not to pressurise him as he had done before. They have a problem that perhaps is not of their making, but they just have to be ready in time for the inspection, no matter what. They just need to think matters through. Firmness and working together should do it.
