There’s a crisis at Bridge Farm.
Radio Times: Peggy visits Bridge Farm, and Ed gives Tony a hand.
Characters: Ed, Helen, Johnny, Peggy, Tony- Johnny is reluctant to do such boring jobs as washing out the van but he does realise the importance. He seems to have got over his disappointment with Melanie. Eddie is late and when Ed appears in his place, the reason becomes clear. Before they can make a start on getting the cows in, Helen turns up with a rather poorly Henry. Johnny is detailed to deal with the child care.
- At The Lodge Peggy is hunting for her walking stick; she is adamant that she doesn’t need to see a doctor. Helen persuades her at least to have an elastic bandage and insists on calling at Bridge Farm to pick one up, though Peggy is anxious that it will make her late for her hair appointment. She admits that her ankle is a little sore, so she agrees.
- Here come the cows – and Otto the bull. Indoors, Henry is bored and grumpy so Johnny takes him out to see the animals being brought in. Helen and Peggy arrive in time to witness a crisis – suffice it to say that it involves Otto and that Tony sounds in a bad way.
