Tom comes to help Pip and Adam saves Charlie’s life.
Radio Times: Pip is trying to cope, and Charlie needs help.
Characters: Adam, Bert, Charlie, Ed, Eddie, Pip, Tom- Pip is stuck with a confused Bert at the farm. Tom comes up on a tractor and Pip breaks down in tears from the tension and worry.
- Charlie asks Adam for help in dislodging whatever is clogging the drain. Adam refuses at first but then changes his mind. Ian is at Grey Gables and Adam can’t save much by himself. Adam and Charlie climb in the digger.
- Pip explains everyone’s whereabouts to Tom but the generator is broken down and there is no internet. Bert just turned up because his bungalow ended up in the river. Tom helps Pip concentrate and they discuss ways to save the milking parlour. Pip rallies once she has help in addressing the problems. Tom and Pip are a successful team and manage to avert disaster in the parlour. Pip, Tom and a bewildered Bert are safe in the farmhouse although there is water within the building. Tom notes that the water seems to be receding.
- Ed and Eddie are in a rowboat looking for anyone in need of rescue. They come across a few irate turkeys and discuss Rob’s head wound which was bleeding a good bit but he was conscious and talking when they last saw him.
- Charlie and Adam are having problems with clearing out the blockage and the digger becomes stuck. Charlie gets into the water to dig by hand and Adam panics. Charlie manages to unblock the drain but his foot gets trapped as the water rushes through the unstopped drain. Charlie goes under as Adam shouts at him to grab onto his hand. Ed hears Adam’s cries but Eddie convinces him that it is nothing.
- Adam works on Charlie to get him breathing again. After a tense few moments, Charlie sputters and chokes. A greatly relieved Adam declares that Charlie shouldn’t worry; Adam is not going to leave him.
