Characters: Alan, Harrison, Helen, Henry, Lynda, Pat, Tony, Usha- Helen is looking forward to expanding Bridge Farm, now that the money has arrived from Justin for the housing development. To stop Pat feeling useless, Helen suggests that her mother could help Alan doing some front of house duties for the pantomime.
- Usha is surprised to learn that tonight’s rehearsal will be at the vicarage. She’s been planning to do some work.
- The boiler at the village hall needs some parts and they may take a few days to arrive. Pat offers to help Alan sorting though some donated clothes for the homeless.
- Tony considers taking Pat to see a musical in London to buck her up, a luxury mini-break. However, she would prefer to give the money to charity. She is planning to help Alan on Christmas Eve at the homeless shelter. Helen agrees to join her, so Tony will be looking after Henry.
- Alan tried to stop Lynda being too loud during the rehearsal. Usha has to come and ask Alan to keep the noise down. After rehearsal, Alan tries to tell Lynda that her performance is “too big” but Lynda is having none of it.
