Characters: Christine, Clarrie, Eddie, George, James Miller, Simon
- The day of the tribunal and the day that Grange Farm milk is again being sold. Clarrie’s nervous and even Eddie is dreaming up ways of continuing farming without a farm.
- George is having a meeting with Jack to discuss his busy-ness. Unfortunately Jack’s concerned at George’s performance too and suggests that he might consider stepping down rather than employing another pair of hands.
- Simon’s on the stand and defending a set of figures relating to Grange Farm’s profitability, although Eddie mocks their accuracy. He defends the stance of production versus green values, but when James attacks him over the lack of a notice to remedy preceding the notice to quit, Simon is on the back foot and blames Shula. He agrees it wasn’t a good thing and it’s definitely round one to the Grundys.
