Characters: David, Debbie, Kate, Ruth, Shula, Simon

• Kate’s another who’s not keen on Debbie seeing Simon, but she’s not too concerned. He and David bump into each other and Simon warns about future conduct.
• David (nor Phil and Jill) is not wholly behind Shula, but she’s happy that she had no real choice.
• Simon stayed at Home Farm last night (on his own) and is envious of Debbie’s family and the relationships within it.
• Lynda wants her original (unused) peace quilt square framed and hung anyway and, apparently, the quilt itself is a great sight.
• Shula’s in two minds as to whether to warn Mr Rodway that she’ll be testifying.
