Characters: Clarrie, Graham, Jill, Joe, Lizzie, Lynda, Phil
- Joe’s moaning about Graham not telling them of the sale, although Clarrie doesn’t feel they can we afford it, not having a (fairy god) mother figure to go to, like Tony. Later Graham, almost kindly, laughs, but it does seem as the Grundys would have problems raising the two hundred odd thousand pounds that Grange Farm would cost them.
- The filming is causing Lizzie no end of headaches and she’s not happy with Nigel leaving her on her own to deal with everyone.
- A pseudo Public Service Broadcast reminding people to vote – although unlike the actual turnout, Lynda’s not seen many at the polling station where she’s doing her civic duty by manning the ballot box, or rather “running the election” all day.
- Phil visits the estate office too. Although the decision won’t be public for a while. Graham’s louth to give details. Phil points out that pending legal action won’t help the sale and that while a few days before David might have given Graham the impression that they were erring away from suing the estate, the position has changed and Simon might want to re-assess his own position, too.
