• Roy is in a real state about Kate, he was at her cottage yesterday looking for her – until Greg, who is still living next door, asked him to leave, not knowing who he is. Debbie realises that none of them has actually told him the news. Eventually he catches up with her and isn’t amused, even less so when (truthfully) she tells him that they’ve no idea about her (and the newborn’s) possible return.
• Usha and Richard are trying to find time to spend together, although Richard’s trying slightly harder. He’s not particularly looking forward to dinner at Ruth and David’s tomorrow and, after being distinctly curt with Alistair in the pub, bumps into Shula and tells her that he doesn’t think he can spend an evening of small talk with her in the same room.
• Usha bumps into Brian and tells him, in no uncertain terms, that she’s not amused that, having lost the case, he feels that he can just wave his chequebook and abuse due process.
