Characters: Chris, Clarrie, Eddie, George, Jennifer, Roy, Sean

• Eddie’s not had the best of weekends and, while he’s not been charged, his van has been impounded for tests. Clarrie’s blaming his involvement with the venison suppliers and thinks he should have told the police about it – as Usha recomended.
• George is home, although still not right. Eddie and Clarrie call round to talk, but Chris doesn’t think it a good idea, although she sends her thanks to William and assures Eddie that George doesn’t think he was involved.
• Roy’s looking Kate, who’s not at the cottage although had, apparently, been at the Cat yesterday – without Luther, though.
• Sean mentions John’s behaviour with Sharon to Roy – Sean didn’t know about their history. Roy admits that he suspects something and that John’s a fool who won’t be told the error of his ways.
