  • Pip’s playing up, she definitely doesn’t want to go to school no matter what David does. Eventually Ruth gets her there and, in an exact repeat of yesterday, she’s fine within moments of arriving.
  • Jack’s shoot is in all sorts of disorganisation, Jack’s feeding the birds and has two days to organise all the beaters and he doesn’t get a good start as most are unavailable. Brian, who’s busy organising his own shoot for next week, offers one of his men to help out.
  • Brian’s having a conspiratorial laugh as Jennifer wonders whether to tell Pat about Sean’s suspicions regarding John and Hayley. He says good luck to John’s oat-spreading and that Sharon’s an attractive woman, so who can blame him?
