  • Debbie has gone to get her hair done after all and Jennifer is planning on pulling out all the stops.
  • The peace quilt squares are largely undone and Jennifer promises to do extra, despite not having done one yet.
  • Larry is coming round to Caroline’s to listen to Guy’s old 78s. In advance of which, Caroline prepares the room to eliminate any prospect of anything!
  • Brian can’t believe that Jack’s agreed to testify for the Grundys, he doesn’t want it mentioned to Simon.
  • At dinner Simon’s hopeful that the business units might turn the village opinion to the better, he mentions that Robert Snell visited the open day. Brian says how impressed he was. Small sparks with Debbie with her jibing of his philanthropy, a battle of wits? 😉
  • After much playing, Larry’s found his musical and (he claims) his muse! It hasn’t so much kindled embers of romance as a headache! He seeks a reciprocal dinner date, the first of many, he hopes …
