- Neil’s not enjoying the corporate life and Susan’s giving him a hard time for his attitude, especially when he mentions that he would rather spend spare money on a new boar than on taking the family to the Bull for Easter Sunday lunch.
- Clarrie has an earache and sees Richard, but hasn’t the spare money and is very worried about the debt collection letter. Neil’s apologetic and even helps Eddie write a letter to the agency, but has no luck with finding out why his plan was rejected.
- Brookfield’s milk yields are down and could be costing them £50 a day, Ruth’s afraid that the lack of silage to cope with the herd expansion is the cause and would still like to avoid a higher feed bill.
- News of Caroline and Graham is sweeping the village, most are assuming the obvious conclusion and there is general surprise at Caroline’s choice!
