• Crunch time approachs for Usha and Richard as he is still missing and she is still fearing the worst.
• John’s pigs are a roaring success.
• Panto preperations continue to wend their merry, but disorganised, way, with Jill and Phil being the apples of Larry and Julia’s eyes and Lynda attempt wholesale re-writes while no-one is watching. David suggests that performing a rehearsal might be funnier than the script – although Hayley objects to that idea!
• David and Ruth see lights in the surgery – it’s Richard. In a real state and trying to complete his late submission. David helps him tidy up and convinces him to return to Usha, although he is being very negative and talking of giving up medicine rather than be pushed out.
• Usha isn’t particularly sympathetic to his situation, pointing out that he shouldn’t be shouldering the whole burden and that his priority is clearly not her, as she leaves for a weekend away to give him the space he obviously craves.
