• Clarrie’s getting fed up with all the envelopes, William doesn’t think he needs his education, the Jerseys are still top secret, but she’s grateful that Susan’s proven to be the friend she always was.
• Peggy and Brian are still slightly surprised at Jack’s decision to testify for the Grundys. Brian is confident of Simon’s case and it seems that Peggy is being slightly hypocritical over her attitude to the Grundys as she remembers her past. She contends that Simon’s Brave New World does need traditional corner.
• Simon’s curious about Debbie’s current attitude to him and Brian is suspicious ….
• Peggy invited John for tea – after a conversation with Pat – and he’s nervous of her intentions. In the end there was no need, after an outburst from John about his real feelings toward Hayley, Peggy surprises him over April Cottage and allows them to have it – and threatens him if he does wrong by her!
• A Jersey heffer is born and Clarrie gets all emotional over the first new-born since the fire.
