Characters: Eddie, Jill, Joe, Lizzie, Lynda, Phil, Shula
- The previous night at Brookfield was heavy (Lizzie is hungover) and a throwback to old times, so Phil’s not keen on the queue for the bathroom in the morning and on Lizzie hogging the phone – albeit to Nigel, who was calling from a payphone on Ibiza!
- Now an Ambridge fixture for the foreseeable future, Lynda is already preparing the next village show. She’s planning verse speaking and performance workshops ahead of a summer production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream!
- Eddie’s composing a song for next Monday’s BBQ which he will sing with Jolene – with Clarrie’s approval.
- Eddie’s off to buy new equipment, although Joe wants to save money to buy the Grange Farm. A proposition that Phil finds slightly surprising given the likely cost.
- Jill reveals the sale of the estate to a surprised Shula, who’s going to make a few phone calls.
- Shula confronts Lizzie, who admits to Nigel’s suspicions. Lizzie denies having an affair with Hugh, but why then does Nigel suspect something? Shula advises talking to him – when he returns.
