Characters: Brian, Debbie, Eddie, Joe, Kenton
- Grange Farm is never clear of bad news for long; this time it’s a problem with the milk, they’re earnings are falling and will go down further if the problem’s a ren’t dealt with. Eddie seeks advice from David but, when the advice is to get the vet it, isn’t sure he wants to go to the expense. Inspector Coverdale is still sniffing around but Eddie is glad that he can show that the only dead meat in his freezers isn’t venison, only a lonely turkey left over from Christmas!
- Kenton and Eddie are swapping the baths today, although Eddie pulls a fast one as he had obviously realised that the one Kenton wanted was special and fobs Kenton off with a different, while not pleased, Kenton swallows his pride.
- Debbie’s up to her neck in the lambing sheds (although Kenton’s help is appreciated) but finds time to review Brian’s plans. To her huge disappointment the current financial situation means that many of her environmentally friendly ideas have been scrapped. When Kenton mentions that he’s looking for investors in his yachting business, she sounds very interested …
