Characters: Alistair, Janet, Jill, Pat, Richard, Shula

• It’s the full three hour Good Friday service at St Stephens and Shula’s not there because of Daniel and Peggy, despite her words after the funeral, isn’t there either. Pat is though and stays behind after the service with her mind still on John. Janet tries to console her but she wants to be left alone.
• Daniel’s being very clingy and later in the day a rash is noticed. Richard calls round and, after a full check decides that he’s baffled and suggests that casualty would be the best suggestion. Shula’s worried that it’s meningitis but Richard’s not ruling anything out or in and off they rush to a hastily arranged consultation at the hospital …..
