  • It’s Easter Sunday and the village’s thoughts are with Shula as she and Alistair conduct a vigil at Daniel’s bedside. The tests are inconclusive, but it’s definitely not meningitis. Richard visits but is unwilling to express an opinion if the paedatrician feels unable to. Shula is worried that he knows but isn’t saying – maybe leukaemia?
  • Sid’s after Neil to play in tomorrow’s football match as cover for Richard and Alistair – lest they have to bring Robert off the subs’ bench.
  • Christopher wins the Bull’s Easter Bonnet competition and his prize is a voucher for a family meal – which Neil would like to use that day. Sid wasn’t happy but Neil is counting the pennies ….
