• Pat’s still selling the yoghurt in Underwoods and meets Hayley there. They lunch, where Pat tells her of John’s contrition, that he’s not the person he was, that he’d do it all differently if he could have the time over again. Hayley spies John in the crowd and scarpers before she can be anything more than pensive at this news.
• It appears that, last night, Eddie was arrested again, on suspicion of poaching, which is why he had disappeared when Neil and Mike returned. When he told the police, they went back, almost arresting Neil and Mike, too! There was no sign of the real poachers though.
• Kate’s chat with Jennifer wasn’t as smooth as she had hoped. Jennifer’s more shocked than anything else and Kate explodes when Jennifer, in a round about way, suggests an abortion. Kate has convinced herself that, whoever the father is, she wants this baby and ends up calling her mother a hypocrite for not understanding or supporting her.
