• David’s trying to tell Phil that he’d rather he took things easier – like not manning the drier during next week’s harvest – but Phil’s having none of it.
• Brian and Jennifer are cock-a-hoop – especially as Kate is looking (and acting) so well. They might have their suspicions about Morwenna, but they can’t deny her positive influence.
• Kate and her parents are getting on better than they have done in years – until Kate overhears her mother mention Roy. For all her calmness she’s definite in her desire for Roy to have no involvement, no matter what his claims. She would rather he hears she’s back on the grapevine than direct from her.
