The good news i £500 for getting one over on Kenton and selling their bath, the bad news is that Alistair thinks that the best way to treat the problem is antibiotics for the whole heard and to withdraw them from milk sales in the meantime. • Ruth, having failed to get Phil around to her way of thinking over the herd at a Milk Marque meeting last night, tries again on Jill and, after discussing real figures, starts to win her around.
  • Tony has some news on the issue of the sewage pipe that Brian doesn’t want to talk about. According to the council, the sewage pipe leads to a housing development that is part owned by Matt Crawford – Brian’s business colleague.
  • Mel’s been on the phone to Brookfield looking for Kenton (who is en route to London to meet a business colleague who might have some money for him). She speaks to Phil who breaks a couple of bits of news to the rest of the family. It seems that Kenton’s got money problems with the Australian tax-man.
