Characters: Brian, David, Debbie, Jill, Kate, Marjorie, Ruth
- David’s taken to calling the baby JM – “Junior Me”! Ruth’s on the mend but she’s getting a little vexed by the never ending stream of visitors and well-wishers.
- Kate’s miffed at Roy who’s taken the bike without her knowledge. Brian’s miffed at Kate for giving permission for some protestors to camp on his land, permission he was happy to rescind in an instant.
- Debbie and Brian visited an environmentally friendly project in Leicstershire and Brian is, almost begrudgingly, impressed.
- Debbie’s trying to rouse support for an impending big rally at the by-pass camp, while Marjorie is happy to help, Brian is sceptical and the newspapers aren’t really interested in another eco-protest – they want “an angle” …
- Jill starts to implement a slightly stricter door policy at the bungalow and as Ambridge’s newest family of four get used to their quartet status, Kate’s day just gets better as she’s the first to be refused entry.
