• Simon’s in a good mood – to the extent of buying some holly from the shop – the irony being it’s Eddie’s and thus came from the estate in the first place!
• Julia’s having a check-up and cannot be too fulsome in her praise of Richard.
• Simon’s mood improves even more after a call to Graham Rider and a mysterious reference to something that “will sort things out once and for all”.
• Julia puts a grumpy Phil together with her own Jill-Larry theory, which Nelson doesn’t really support.
• Richard receives his letter from the GMC, they are not going to proceed to the Professional Conduct Committee, although they do have some strong words as to his future conduct.
