Characters: David, Debbie, Eddie, George, Jennifer, Kate, Ruth
- Jennifer and Kate are decorating the tree, although Kate is getting a little fed up with the smoothering the over-compensation – Jennifer’s worried that she might harm the baby with even the lifting of a kettle!
- The Archer men are due to help move Tom out of Keeper’s Cottage, the end of an era which moves everyone, unsurprisingly, but it goes off without a hitch and Uncle Tom joins Pru at The Laurels.
- Eddie’s still not completely over the moon – while Clive’s been arrested, James Coverdale still thinks Eddie is involved, although no-one else has mentioned him.
- Jennifer’s taking advice from Debbie, that maybe she should try to let Kate be, in this light she visits the cottage where Kate is packing to leave. Jennifer manages to convince her that, even this earlier in a pregnancy, spending a few days in a cold caravan is not a good idea. They are getting on much better now, Kate can see that the smoothering has her best at heart.
- The Bull is full as David and Ruth meet George – who’s in a good mood. Apparently the police searched Clive’s flat and found some of their property, since when Clive’s been charged in relation to the burglary too! Eddie’s in an even better mood, though, because Clive was the only one to name him – indeed, none of the others even knew who he was, his Christmas present from the Borsetshire Constabulary is a dropping of all charges! Trebles all round!!
