Characters: Brian, David, Jennifer, Jill, Phil, Ruth, Shula
- The Brookfield hens are going to have to be penned as they don’t seem to be able to stay in the orchard, out of the yard. The whole Brookfield clan are shocked at the devious and manipulative Brian, as well as disappointment at Debbie and Jennifer. There’s also talk of Phil and Jill’s upcoming Ruby anniversary.
- Jennifer is still giving Brian a very hard time, he can’t see Tony’s point, thinking he should be grateful for having a landlord he knew. The tenants will be getting a letter tomorrow – but even that still wouldn’t mention Brian’s involvment.
- The fete is going to have it’s fly-past, although there’s a need for split second timing and fingers crossed for good weather.
- Ruth’s back is playing up and Richard’s told her to do no work. So David’s being protective, Shula’s offering to help with Pip and the family is pulling together.
- Jennifer told Phil the same as she told Tony. She’s sorry that while she might be a partner in Home Farm, she doesn’t make decisions and knew nothing. Brian’s in Borchester and she’s getting fed up covering for him. Later he tries to get around her with flowers, chocolate and dinner but she wants nothing to do with him and feels distinctly let down.
