• Tony’s having another dig at John about his attitude, but John’s not taking it that well. Eventually they strike a deal, if John fixes the fence that Tony’s been on at him to do for weeks John can borrow the car to take Hayley out that evening. Needless to say it doesn’t get done, but Tony relents because he can see how important it is to John.
• Alistair and Shula arrive at the Mont Blanc and are having a good time – they are obviously settling into their new relationship very well. That is until Caroline, who is feeling a little uneasy about the attention Graham is paying her “notices” that Shula and Alistair are also at Mont Blanc and twists Graham’s arm into having Shula and Alistair at their table – only Caroline is pleased at the four of them sharing a table.
• Meanwhile, as a surprise, John’s booked he and Hayley a table at, you’ve guessed where, Mont Blanc. They’re getting along well and talking. She’s glad they can be friends, he takes this as a sign and offers her a present. It’s a ring and he proposes to her, she’s mortified – and declines ….
