• Hayley and John are helping with the mamooth clear up operation at the PYO, and Hayley manages to convince Roy to go and see Kate – who’s gone to Oxford “shopping” although Roy’s convinced it’s to meet another bloke and isn’t happy.
• Debbie’s preparing Home Farm for the forthcoming open day to celebrate the fishing lake winning the environmental award.
• Pat and Tony are finally talking and, while she still has serious reservations, Pat is happy for them to take Peggy’s shilling and support a mortgage on the rest. She appreciates that, for Tony, it’s more than just assets and leaving something tangible for the children, it’s about owning the land he farms. He’s ecstatic and so’s Peggy when he tells her. The offer will be in by Thursday if there are no problems.
