• Kate and Brian are still at loggerheads, this time over Kate using his computer to produce some leaflets for the protest. Debbie joins in the disquiet, still complaining that she feels under-appreciated by him and that his plans for the estate are being decided without her input.
• Kate’s purse has turned up – it had been under a seat in Jennifer’s car.
• Hayley and Pat are getting on famously, although Pat stutters slightly when Hayley asks if there’s any reason for John’s slightly strange behaviour recently.
• Debbie shocks Jennifer with the bombshell that she’s had enough, that she’s very attracted to the London job offer, where her expertise will be appreciated and that she’d handed in her resignation to Brian!
