• Jennifer’s got a cold so Debbie’s stepping into the breach and accompanying Brian to the Hunt Ball. She’s not sure, after all she hasn’t had her hair done, nor bought a new dress, but agrees.
• Brian’s impressed that Caroline is accompanying Graham to the Ball, his Lothario skills are still up to paying Caroline quite generous complements.
• Tony’s not happy that the estate are happy for the water board to lay the pipe across it’s land – he’s still planning on protesting. Brookfield are happy to shoulder the disruption and pocket the compensation cheque.
• The Hunt Ball goes swimmingly, Debbie’s enjoying herself and, to her own surprise, Caroline is getting on very well with a very attentive Graham – even to the extent of agreeing to take him riding (on a horse) in the next couple of days.
