Kate’s having a great time at Glastonbury but that indigestion she’s blaming on a beanburger is slightly more serious according to Morwenna.
Jennifer and Brian are at loggerheads over the holiday cottages, she’s especially annoyed at having to cancel some reservations because Greg’s still installed in one. This situation might change as a very surprised Brian meets Sammy who has decided to accept Brian’s settlement.
Jill’s busy trying to organise the fete, while getting a little tired of Phil’s constant practicing with the 1812. She’s a little worried about Shula, who doesn’t seem to want to talk about the theatre visit with Alistair.
Chris mentions to Shula that she wouldn’t mind starting to take things easier (thinking that George, as his 70th approaches should too) and that she might consider looking for a partner in the stables.
Jennifer receives a phone call, it’s Kate on a mobile informing her, from a teepee, of the birth of a grand-daughter (who burbles obligingly into the handset). She’s adamant that the medics need not get involved and the arrival even gets announced on one of the festival’s stages ….
