Robert has a moment of inspiration. Kenton has a moment of uncertainty.
Radio Times: Fallon steps up to the plate and Lynda proves to be unstoppable.
Characters: David, Fallon, Jolene, Kenton, Kirsty, Lynda, Robert- David calls at The Bull to find Kenton behind the bar on his first full day working there. They go off together to organise the fireworks, though it seems that the sensitivities of Hilary Noakes’ cockatoo must be considered when the positioning of them is under consideration.
- Fallon is enjoying her first day as manager of Jaxx until Naomi makes it clear that she is not happy about the appointment. She takes a break, claiming that Kenton always let them do that, but Kirsty tells Fallon that is a lie. Fallon rings Kenton to check and finds that Naomi is indeed telling lies, so she sends her to clean the coffee machine.
- Lynda is still stressing over her Revels, until Robert has a bright idea; what is needed is a Lord of Misrule to tie the acts together. Lynda is enthralled with the idea and immediately offers the role to Kenton, who refuses, saying he is needed at The Bull. Undeterred, Lynda tackles Jolene, who is quite happy about it, so Kenton is duly appointed.
- Kenton is concerned that Jolene is not happy about his theatrical role; she has been very quiet. Jolene tells him she could never have imagined, a year ago, being so happy. She is quiet only because she misses Fallon.
