Kenton is becoming obsessed with Farmhouse Breakfast Week.

Radio Times: Kenton is on a mission, while Neil tries to give advice.

Characters: , , , , ,
  • David is worrying that Pip is spending so much time on Spencer and the cows that university work isn’t getting done. Elizabeth says Freddie is doing better but he still doesn’t enjoy it. Especially with a maths test coming up. David is doing up Rickyard, hoping to let it again. The conversion plans have ground to a halt over Christmas but she is seeing the bank soon.
  • Ed is getting on well with the accounting programme and Neil suggests he takes a little less from the business while he stays with them so he can afford the herd management programme too. Ed reluctantly agrees. But Neil does tell him it was the wrong time to approach Mike about the milk price. Leave it for a couple of months until Mike is more settled.
  • Kenton starts pestering David about farmhouse breakfast week. He wants the Brookfield yard tractor. David says of course not, they use it all the time and it stinks! He’ll talk about it later in The Bull. Elizabeth doesn’t get away without a call either. David agrees to lending the harrow and Kenton will book Hayley for basket of eggs but Neil warns him off asking Mike for a milk churn – he’s got more important things on his mind.
  • Elizabeth and Roy have sold their first Lower Loxley passport. Actually they are regulars so they will probably lose money. They are going to have to think about the details of the renaming of the rare breeds centre to the Shires Rare Breeds Centre. It’s looking positive for the press launch.
