Christopher is a bit more conscious and breathing on his own. But the village is gossiping that Alice is to blame.

• Emma and Helen are off to the hospital but Jennifer has insisted that Alice goes home for some sleep. Emma says Susan will make herself ill too if she doesn’t get some rest. Emma tries to talk to him but there seems to be no change and then he squeezes her hand and opens his eyes and even seems to know who she is. They’ve even taken the tube out so he’s breathing on his own, although he still needs oxygen. Helen says at least Alice needed some good news because there is gossip in the village that it is her fault Christopher had the accident.
• Mike and Ed start planning their advertising campaign. They should plan for leafleting all of the roads according to Ed but Mike is still not convinced they will even keep the customers they’ve got. Gradually he gets more into it and even agrees to saying “as featured in Borsetshire Life”. And they want to use Rob’s idea of “nostalgia in a bottle”.
• Ed admits to Jazzer that he has given £500 more to the lady who sold them the tractor. Jazzer isn’t impressed and threatens to tell Emma.
