Caroline is clearly not very well. Brenda heads off to St Petersburg.

Radio Times: Phoebe is worried and Brenda has an exciting prospect coming up.

Phoebe is getting worried that Brenda going to Russia is her fault because she asked when she was leaving. Maybe Brenda thought she was hinting, which she admits she was. Mike tells her she’s just going on holiday to explore Europe with a friend.
Vicky “helps” Brenda with packing and gives her lots of parting gifts including Ivan the Teddyble. Brenda desperately tries to leave him behind with Bethany but Vicky insists on shoving him in somewhere.
Tom is looking forward to the launch of his ready meals. Bellinghams will be taking publicity shots, mostly for in house publicity but they might get something in the trade papers too. The in-store launch is tomorrow.
Brenda promises to post lots of photos back from Russia. Mike drives her to the train station and warns her to watch out for Matt. She needs to make sure she has enough money to get home if he lets her down.
Lynda finds Caroline having a break in the garden. She babbles on about finding a valuable silver watch but Caroline isn’t really listening. She says she is feeling “cotton woolly” and is in a lot of pain she says in her back.
Vicky tries to reassure Mike that Brenda will be fine (not that she is 32 or anything!) but Mike is still reluctant to trust Matt.
