Caroline agrees on her holiday. Lilian has found out that Brenda is in Russia with Matt.

Radio Times: Lilian has some disturbing news and there are echoes from the past for Kenton and Jolene.

Caroline insists on heading the Grey Gables to supervise the breakfast service and is convinced standards are slipping and Oliver is rather offended that she is blaming him. So Oliver takes the opportunity to press her to take a holiday.
Fallon is keen to hold the reception at Jaxx but they both think it’s too small. Kenton thinks the compromise is that she can organise the reception, just somewhere else. It has too many memories for him too. They aren’t all that keen on Borchester Register Office either. And Kenton can’t be bothered to check out Felpersham so they settle on Borchester and an Italian restaurant.
Anthea is beginning to sort Lilian out – writing cheques and dealing with tenants. Lilian finally has to be grudgingly grateful.
After a tough day at the hotel, Caroline gives in and agrees on a holiday to Italy in September. She’ll get onto the agency to find a temporary manager and Oliver can book. Lilian turns up at The Bull really annoyed now that she has found out Brenda is acting as Matt’s PA in Russia. She wonders about talking to Mike to find out if he knows what she is up to. Jolene cautions against it because if he doesn’t know it will worry him and if he does she will look stupid. Lilian wonders if she can look any more stupid than she already does.
