Jennifer is working on a menu. Who knows what Lynda is working on. Both endorse the SAVE video.
Radio Times: The SAVE video is ready to roll, while Fallon is getting ambitious.
Characters: Alice, David, Fallon, Jennifer, Lynda, Ruth- In the hope of gleaning ideas on a menu, befitting an Albion kitchen, to feed to the great and good of Borsetshire, Jennifer has turned to a Danish film that she saw almost 30 years ago – Babette’s Feast. Anything Babette can do … Jennifer muses on what dizzy heights her writing career might have reached if she had not spent all those years chained to the Aga. Alice puts her in her place about that.
- The SAVE video, largely the work of Josh and Phoebe, is ready. David and Ruth are impressed. For the second viewing they call in Lynda, who in turn calls in Jennifer. Lynda is very pleased that they have taken up her suggestions about title and music.
- Alice catches Fallon varnishing a sixties coffee table, rather less high-tech than Alice’s work. Really Fallon needs a workshop and, even more urgently she needs a website; for that, Alice turns out to be a willing volunteer. Fallon’s last day at Jaxx is Friday; she’s sad about that but excited about her new venture, especially the idea that Kirstie put into her head – a vintage village tea room; but where in Ambridge can she find somewhere affordable?
- Jennifer agrees that the video is good and it will be uploaded as soon as possible to the village website and to the SAVE website. It will be a really effective weapon and Lynda cryptically comments that it may signal a turning point in the campaign.
