- Helen recalls with Anna, the time that Rob forced Henry to throw both his teddy bear and his Easter egg in the bin, but admits she was not present to witness the event. Anna informs Helen that Rob is now pressing to see Jack and although Helen is adamant that this cannot happen, without her cooperation, Rob could well take the matter to court.
- Fallon’s jumble trail has raised £110 towards the curtain legs at the village hall. News has reached Justin of Rob’s circumstances and as a former employee of Justin’s, he expresses concern. While he and Brian commiserate over Rob, Lilian and Jennifer try to move the conversation on to other topics. Lilian tells Justin about Toby’s latest venture with the drone and the capacity for Damara Capital’s inclusion in the publicity. Justin’s interest is piqued but at the same time he doesn’t want his reputation tarnished and trusts Lilian’s judgement with Toby’s enterprises.
- It’s the Ruby Wedding celebrations for Brian and Jennifer. Brian gives a touching speech about his four decades spent with Jennifer and presents her with a ruby ring – and a holiday in Venice on the Orient Express. Justin adds his own warm wishes to Brian’s speech. It’s not all he has on his mind as he takes Lilian to one side and explains that while he cannot end his conventional arrangement with Miranda, he would very much like to further his relationship with Lilian, if she were agreeable?
