• As we knew he would, Bert is enjoying the umpiring course, but isn’t enjoying Lynda’s auditions, he still feels that the Bard could do with some updating. Similarly Pat isn’t enjoying Lynda’s attention over getting her on board as Titania.
• Pat and Tony are still no nearer an agreement, but while Tony’s getting general agreement from all and sundry – although Graham warns caution over any dabbling in the property market – unbeknowst to him, Pat has arranged a £7.000 overdraft facility at the bank, a facility that doesn’t need Tony’s approval to be used.
• Debbie’s uncomfortable with Simon’s freedom and visits the estate office, where a sympathetic Graham tells her that he doesn’t expect to see his current employer in person for quite a while.
