• Pat and Tony, who is wandering whether, as a senior member of the family, another Anthony wouldn’t be a bad suggestion for the newest member, decide that the shop is too much a burden for their Brave New Bridge Farm. Tony gets the job of telling Mike, although manages to avoid the issue in The Bull when he has a chance.
• George mentions to Susan that he told the police that it might have been an idea to talk to Clive about the recent burglaries. While she had a go at him, later she does ask Clive whether he was involved.
• John “accidentally” saw Sharon by the roadside and gave her a lift home. While espousing emotional ties they made plans to continue their liasons, starting with The Bull on Thursday while everyone else, including Hayley presumably, will be at The Cat’s Gangster night.
• Clive pays a visit on George and, in an almost threatening fashion, threatens to call the police on him for wasting their time and harrassing him.
