• A tale of two Christmasses: the traditional Brookfield occasion, Kenton’s temporarily called to the wine bar – but returns in time – and Ruth’s tending the pigs and she and David take a brief respite from the family! A happy occasion made more so by Kenton offering to pay for Shula, Phil and Jill to come visit him in Australia later in the year.
• The other Christmas was the one that Kathy was not enjoying; commercially successful, but she’s still annoyed that Jamie was not able to have as good as Christmas as might have been possible had she not spent most of the period in the kitchen.
