Characters: Alistair, Brian, Eddie, Hayley, John, Neil, Susan

• Susan’s feeling put upon at the business units, while he’s being very nice about it, Alistair is complaining about the lack of marked parking space. Susan says that she’s told Brian and he’s not done anything, Alistair mentions this when he sees Brian, who tears Susan off a strip for not taking matters into her own hands. It appears that if she had any alternative, Susan wouldn’t stay in that job for any longer.
• John and Neil are discussing John’s proposition of having Neil provide him with weaners, and it seems as though Neil is fairly keen on the idea.
• Alistair visits Grange Farm and goes through the process of milking with Eddie and does come up with a few suggestions which might minimise future problems.
• Hayley’s still feeling a little fragile where John is concerned and the getting over him process is proceeding slowly. She had been out with Roy last night and had a good time. John visits her at work and she sends him away in no uncertain terms. Eventually he’s going to get the message.
