- David’s working on getting the old tractor in working order again, they’re advertising the luxurious big red one and he’s rather hopinh no-one responds.
- Brian’s been in London for a meeting with his partners in Borchester land. It didn’t go well, while farms up and down the nation are cursing the effects of strong pound on European subsidies and produce prices, his partners are wondering what he is going to do about it. He’s concerned that they will raise the issue of whether the current estate usage is the most economic ….
- Roy is in a bad way and admits to Hayley that after eating with her last night he ate and drank some more with John. She’s curious as to how John is coping.
- Roy has been granted an audience with Kate and delivers his news. It’s not news that Kate wanted to hear and she’s adamant that Roy is to have nothing to do with the baby and considers unfair that a court could force her to take a test or infer Roy’s paternity.
- Kate tells her mother that she plans on stopping claiming benefit, she’s fed up with the “police state” that can interfere in the lives of others..
