  • Caroline and Graham have a good ride together, she’s amazed at the improvement in his technique, especially when taking his mount over jumps.
  • Kate’s tries Grey Gables for work, but they’re at full strength.
  • David and Ruth are bidding at a cattle auction.
  • Nigel’s at the café-bar for an urgent meeting with Shane. He’s had a letter from Nelson saying that he’s planning on closing the place down and selling the building. The shock is tangible, especially amongst the likes and Shula and Nigel.
  • Lynda’s not happy about the plans for Sawyers Farm and is blaming Graham for them, while he is trying to explian (without success) why he’s got nothing to do with them.
  • Shula calls on Caroline to pass on the news about Nelson. Caroline comments on Graham’s sudden leap in ability and Shula mentions the lessons. Caroline rather hopes that he’s not doing this all for her benefit.
