  • Caroline arrives at work on Monday morning to find a gift from Graham, bought from his share of their winnings from the races. It’s a surprisingly tasteful horse brooch – Debbie’s very impressed and is trying to stir. Apparently he’s invited her out tomorrow, to a very nice restaurant called Mont Blanc and their Mardi Gras celebration.
  • Brian’s plans for Home Farm seem to be to drop entirely beef and venison, which Debbie’s not overly happy with but she can see the econmic benefits. He’s also considering trading in his three combines (and need for three drivers) for one HUGE one, which might cost £200,000 but will be better value in the long run.
  • Kate’s working for Pat in the dairy.
  • Ambridge is sending a contigent to the Countryside March in London on Sunday – Debbie, Caroline, John and Roy at the very least.
  • Alistair’s asked Shula out to dinner for tomorrow and, without telling her why, Caroline recommends Mont Blanc.
