• Eddie’s trying to get into Sean’s good books, and thus into the cricket team, by gently suggesting that the team would be a good bit stronger with a committed all-rounder involved, one who would be more than happy to help out with pitch duties ….
• Hayley has told Tony about why Tommy was so upset after the Single Wicket competition and she tells Sean who, without letting him know the real reason, will try and talk Tommy into returning to the fold.
• Richard’s absolutely fuming and has failed to contact Joe or Eddie since the deal was struck. He bumps into Clarrie and lets the cat out of the bag, she’s shocked and embarrassed and promises him a refund and then goes in seach of Eddie. She finds him rolling the cricket pitch and tears into him. She doesn’t buy his excuse, that they wanted the money for a good holiday because the boys would be disappointed with not seeing the England match. She tells him to get the tickets back.
