Brian puts the boot in

Radio Times: Brian puts the boot in

Characters: , , , , , ,
  • Tommy’s visiting his prospective college, Tony’s pleased that he seems happy and even Pat seems to be slowly coming around to the idea. They’ve managed to get the college’s permission for Tommy to stay at Bridge Farm, too and he genuinely seems to be looking forward to starting on Tuesday.
  • Greg (very diplomatically) mentions to Debbie that there’s a spot of land that he’d quite like, for the sake of the birds, to be left as set aside. When asked Brian says that it’s her decision, but he’s clear he would appreciate her and Greg to not fall out again.
  • Lynda’s at Home Farm to discuss the issue of signing contracts for the land for the Millennium Wood, eventually Brian confirms that Graham Ryder is dealing with it, but a 199 year lease at a peppercorn rent should be ready by mid-November. The only problem is that Lynda’s still keen on having some car boot sales at Home Farm, but Brian is adamant that there will be no such thing. He’s also not happy at Thursday’s dinner invitation at the Tuckers’. Unbeknowst to him, it appears that he’s with Mike at not seeing why a pint in the pub wouldn’t suffice.
