Adam expresses his gratitude to Ian. Vicky worries about amniocentesis.

• What a beautiful present – very romantic; Ian is delighted. But that’s not all. Adam has also booked a table at Milo’s; they had planned to go there on his birthday but cried off. Why the presents? It’s for being there for Adam during the recent troublesome times.
• Vicky is hoping for some time with Mike but he is very busy and he has promised to help Ed. Could it be that he doesn’t want to talk about the amniocentesis?
• Fallon is impressed with the visit to Milo’s but not so impressed with Rhys’s leg pulling. Fallon is keen to lay on extra events while Jolene and Kenton are away. Rhys is not so enthusiastic about the extra work.
• Mike apologises for being short with Vicky; he suggests that he has a quick nap and then they go to The Bull.
• Over a fine dinner, Ian and Adam agree that their life is much better than that of Pawel and the other ‘kids’ of his age. Also they must get out together more often.
• Mike still hasn’t found a replacement for Harry but that’s not what Vicky wants to talk about. She has done some research on the risks of amniocentesis. Mike feels they should defer a decision until they see the midwife tomorrow; she will surely tell them all that they need to know.
