Anisha and Alistair look close to a deal. Elizabeth is surprised to learn that Shula had yearnings for Richard.

Characters: Alistair, Anisha, Eddie, Elizabeth, Joe, Shula- Eddie is still worrying about how he can mark his and Clarrie’s 35th wedding anniversary. Joe suggests selling some “artisan cider” might be the thing. Toby thinks there is a market. There is a whole new market of discerning drinkers. Eddie wonders how they will get enough apples but Joe thinks David might be happy to have his orchard tidied. Later Eddie is climbing trees to shake down more apples and Elizabeth is keen to see them being used. She suggests asking Lynda if she can share some. Elizabeth says Lynda is working so Eddie and Joe see an opportunity.
- Alistair and Shula seem pleased at how thing are going with Anisha. She is visiting again today and they all seem quite keen. Anisha wants to get a valuation done as soon as possible but Alistair pushes it into next week. Anisha is disappointed. One of their visits is to Grange Farm. Anisha is impressed but Alistair suggests a closer look.
- Eddie has the idea that Thanksgiving might be the way to mark their anniversary – a turkey dinner; Emma could make a pumpkin pie. Clarrie would like it and it wouldn’t break the bank. Alistair turns up with Anisha. She has a look at Bartleby. There is something they could try. Joe is worried about the cost but Anisha says she could do it as an introductory offer. They would be pioneers! Joe is thrilled and suggests Alistair should snap her up. Alistair realises the time is right and agrees to reschedule his morning to fit in Anisha’s valuer.
- Eddie and Joe steal the apples from Lynda’s trees. Eddie says it will be fine – he’ll drop Robert a note. But he still won’t have anyone involved in Mother Goose.
- Elizabeth and Shula have a heart to heart. Shula says everything is going so much better now. Alistair was only selling the business for her. But a partnership would be a much better solution. And it has given their relationship a new lease of life. Shula admits she had rather a crush on Richard Locke. She realises now it was silly. Elizabeth is surprised to hear about it, she tells Shula she chose the birthday brooch that Shula has seen as a love token. Elizabeth sounds rather confused. What does she know about Richard’s feelings?
