  • Roy still isn’t having success with online dating. The next girl has said he isn’t her type. Neither Roy nor Kirsty really know what is going on but Kirsty tells him he mustn’t give up.
  • Lynda has another attempt at convincing Susan to be in the Christmas show. She stresses that she would be Queen of Gooseland. The epitome of glamour. Emma turns up and convinces Susan and agrees to talk to George and Keira about it. They were disappointed when they couldn’t take part before. Emma tells Susan that it will be the ideal opportunity to show off her weight loss. Susan agrees but she is disappointed that Neil doesn’t seem to have lost weight.
  • Lynda next takes on Roy to be Colin, Mother Goose’s son who falls in love with Colinette – who Lynda just has plans to be Kirsty. Roy is shocked to find out that Lynda knows he is internet dating but she tells him that he is more likely to find love in the village panto.
  • Lilian and Kirsty are discussing how amazing Peggy is at 92 when Lynda pounces on them both. Lilian escapes but Kirsty can’t get away. She isn’t keen that Justin would be her father as Colinette but at least it isn’t Rob. Lynda convinces her that she can use her antipathy to Rob and her irritation with Justin for giving him a job as a dramatic boost.
  • Susan can’t find a dress for the photo. Emma tries to help her. Meanwhile Emma has to ask Susan to take the children to school while she has to open up the tea room for Rob’s contact. They continue looking at dresses and Susan ends up buying 3. She thinks about sending 2 back once she’s decided. Emma says she could take back all 3 if she is careful. Susan clearly still doesn’t want Ed in the photo but Emma promises he won’t let them down.
  • Lilian can’t escape. Lynda catches her later. She has to be the good fairy. Lilian finds this hysterical but agrees once Lynda tells her it is really a “commanding” role.
