Brian gains the upper hand. Mike loses a milkman.

Radio Times: Mike receives an unexpected delivery, and Adam eats humble pie.

• Family relationships at Home Farm are distinctly volatile as Adam tackles Brian about the ad for an arable manager, and says he has reconsidered his decision to leave. Realising he has the upper hand, Brian enjoys seeing Adam squirm, while Jenny shrieks hysterically. Finally Brian tells Adam loftily that he has noted his interest and will let Adam know. He dives into the pool to avoid further hysterics from Jenny
• Vicky brings Mike coffee in bed and a promise of cooked breakfast to follow. Unable to think of anything other than the baby, she tells Mike they have a busy day ahead, doing online shopping for baby things. Mike is less than enthralled at the prospect, and will be glad when his milkmen return.
• Adam tells Ian what happened at Home Farm. Ian tries to make him see reason, but Adam is in full sulk mode once again. He has tried to call Debbie, but she is not answering her phone.
• Vicky tries to persuade Mike to share her enthusiasm for changing mats, but they are interrupted by the sight of Fallon’s campervan driving away. Mike finds a letter through the door from Harry. He will not be returning to work, having met up with his old boyfriend from university when the van broke down in Cumbria. Their relationship has been rekindled, and Harry is staying there with Grant. Vicky coos that it is like a fairy-tale; Mike can only wonder where he will find another milkman.
• Brian tells Jenny he was never serious about letting Adam go; he just wanted to make him sweat. Now he will cancel the ad and tear up any replies. But Adam is treated to a lecture on giving 100% at all times if he wants to stay, and must show a happy and positive attitude, something which does not sound even remotely like Adam.
• Ian thinks they should celebrate the fact that they are staying. He wants to invite Pawel round for a Polish night. Adam seems strangely reluctant, but Ian says he will text Pawel straight away.
